Equipment for gas and oil industry

ZiO-Podolsk has been producing the equipment to refine oil and process gas and gas condensate. Steadily increasing the productivity and expending product range, ZiO-Podolsk manufactures up to 700 items a year with total weight up to 20 000 tons.

ZiO-Podolsk produces wide range of equipment for refineries: columns, reactors, adsorbers, absorbers, desorbers, vessels, receivers, shell and tube heat exchangers, pipe furnaces and coils. Oil refinery equipment is designed both for new and existing plants. ZiO-Podolsk maintains long-term and in some cases more than half-century profitable friendship with such Russian refineries as Saratovsky, Omsky, Ufimsky, Sumgaitsky, Fergansky, Moskovsky, Volgogradsky, Permsky, Guryevsky, Kirishsky, Orenburgsky. Orders are awarded by such oil companies as Lukoil, Yukos, TNK, Zarubezhneft, Chimmashexport, Surgutneftegaz and others. In order to provide operational reliability, environmental parameters and reduce material and energy costs while designing refinery equipment, ZiO-Podolsk closely cooperates with research institutes and design offices, such as VNIINeftemash, Giprogazochistka, VNIPINeft, State Institute for Nitrogen Industry and others.

ZiO-Podolsk develops successful cooperation with enterprises of JSC Gazprom increasing the production of packed equipment and achieving maximal off-the-shelf availability taking into severe climatic conditions and customer's requirements.

The Plant manufactures (according to TsKBN projects and own developments):

Small modular plants to process gas condensate and oil into diesel fuel, petrol and fuel oil. They are capable to provide fuel for oil fields and expeditions and meet the requirements of neighboring districts. The most efficient result can be achieved when these plants are installed in outlying northern regions thus avoiding transportation costs (thereto - raw materials, therefrom - fuel), reducing scope of auxiliary installations, external communications infrastructures. The capacity of manufactured and supplied plants is 5…25 thousand tons annually (15…70 tons daily). Nowadays have been designed the plants with capacity up to 100 thousand tons a year.
Plants for start-up, control, fuel gas preparation delivered by packed modules and providing complete gas preparation for compressor stations, i. e. for cleaning, reduction, heating, drying and storage of control gas, flow measurement for each individual consumer (turbine, boiler house, residential area, etc.). This plant can be supplied in complete scope with automation control system or by separate modules at the customer's option.
Quick-change orifice plates designed for commercial accounting of gas flow in gas-main and auxiliary pipelines. ZiO-Podolsk also produces process equipment for gas-measuring stations.
Regenerators (with bypass heat-recovery heat exchangers on the customer's request) for gas compressor stations and gas-main pipelines used for air heating to increase the efficiency of the station.

As the design and technologies are the same, the plant produces vessel equipment for such allied industries as chemical metallurgy, nitrogen fertilizers, etc. Thus ZiO-Podolsk fabricated two reactors Р-40 for Kirovochepetsky chemical plant, chilling condenser for Novokuznetsky metallurgical plant, separators and silencers for Verkhne-Mutnovskaya and Mutnovskaya geothermal power plants in Kamchatka and other equipment. ZiO-Podolsk designed and fabricated air coolers made of finned steel tubes and supplied them to several refineries, including Moskovsky refinery.

Expending its product range, the plant produces new types of shell and tube heat exchangers, such as coil heat exchangers (with spiral-bent tubes) and helically baffled shall and tube heat exchangers (under ABB LHT license, the Netherlands).

JSC ZiO-Podolsk takes an active part in tender contest organized by JSC Gazprom and has been awarded several lots to supply the equipment for cleaning and cooling of compressed gas at compressor stations and the equipment for natural underground storage equipment.

Dust collectors (scrubbers) were designed jointly with Russian organization TsKBN and foreign companies PECO (the USA) and PROSERNAT (France).

АВГ-85MГ new generation air cooler of compressed gas was designed and serially produced jointly JSC Gidroaerotsentr and active participation of JSC Mostransgas. Due to application of new composite materials and modern computer developments in forming of the air cooler setting, the weight was reduced (in comparison with analogs) by 6 tons, the installed capacity - almost twice, from 74 to 39 kW maintaining specified engineering performances.

The first Russian air cooler of "raw gas" designed by TsKBN was manufactured and successfully tested at ZiO-Podolsk. Nowadays, the Plant applies modern equipment for tubes fining (with diameter up to 219 mm inclusive) for convective parts of product coils. Any combinations of tubes and strip are possible: carbon, low-alloy chrome-molybdenum, martensite, austenitic steels. Along with finned tubes, the plant produces studded tubes made of various steel grades. According to project requirements, coil elements are welded with or without backing rings.

Most of the equipment for gas and oil industry operates at high temperature and pressure. Its strength is provided and guaranteed throughout the whole range of working parameters. It is achieved by strict compliance with Russian and international design, fabrication and testing standards, use of carbon, low-alloy, corrosion and heat-resistant steels and alloys including titanium alloys. The latest scientific and technological developments are applied as much as possible.
